How is coaching different from therapy and education?
Coaching deals mostly with a person’s present situation and seeks to guide them into a more desirable future.
Coaching is a co-creative, equal partnership. Coaches help clients discover their own answers.
Coaching assumes emotions are natural and normalizes them.
Coaching helps you identify the challenges, then works with you to turn challenges into victories, and holds you accountable to reach your desired goals. (Allen, p. 15) (Williams and Menendez (2007)
Does coaching really work?
